About Us
NYC24 (pronounced "N-Y-C-two-four") covers some of the people, places and things that make New York City unique. Every week, our staff brings you six feature stories that cover a special theme.
NYC24 is produced entirely by the students of the New Media Workshop at the Graduate School of Journalism at Columbia University. The 1997 New Media Workshop launched NYC24 as a single issue site that took a snapshot of New York over a 24-hour period on April 18, 1997. This is our attempt to follow in their cyber footsteps.
