NYC24>>Making It

While many lives have been impacted by the tragedy of September 11, it's what has not changed that continues to give comfort. These times show that whatever the circumstances, living creatures are driven to survive -- to "make it." In this first issue of NYC24 for 2002, our reporters roamed the city to discover the ways New Yorkers celebrate daily life. Whether they are making a living, making a meal, making room for others or making the scene, they do it in their own plucky way.
